As a lot of you know I am retiring this June and I am going to miss each of you. Please keep in touch and let me know what you are doing for fun! I learned so much from each of you and enjoyed the teaching, especially the Math! If you know where I live please drop by, if not, maybe I will see you at Walmart or when I sub!! LOL Good luck to each of you and remember if you don’t understand yet? you will sometime

Hope everyone had a wonderful winter break Can you believe the school year is almost half over.? What is everyone doing? Missing all my West Salem Graduates!

“Hello” to everyone!!!! How is your school year going? I am getting ready to read The Math Curse to my new classes. Hope everyone is still doing Math everyday!!!!   Mrs. Math

What are you planning to do this summer? Hope is is fun and I bet you will use Math A LOT.  plan to visit my son, his wife, and my granddaughter in Vero Beach, FL. I will be gone from June 30 – July 9 and then  they will come home with me for about 6 days, YEAH!!!! I am going to visit my other son and his wife in North Carolina 2 different times. I will get to spend more time with my stepchildren, who live here in the valley and with my Mom. Also, I want to stay cool, relax, walk, exercise, work in my flower gardens, and read some good books! Have a great summer!I

Planning anything fun for the time off? I pan to go to FL to visit my son, his wife, and my granddaughter.  Then return home and rest! Let’s hope the weather cooperates:)

Want to share? One of my resolutions was to exercise at least 3 times each week and eat healthier. And keep an Easy button ready and working for all the great Math grades this year!

It is with great sadness that I inform you that my easy button of 2005-2007 has “died” due to two years of completed homework, corrected homework, great grades on Math assignments and classwork; even new batteries did not help!!! I will be replacing it very soon. Carry on with all your GREAT math skills! FYI.. The BUTTON has been replaced and I received the special school edition, so now friends can push two at the same time

I am so proud of all of you guys and your 2007 SOL 5th grade Math scores. We almost had a 100% pass rate. We had 39% of you with 600s and 26% of you with pass advanced scores; which means 65% of you scored above 500. Several of you missed the pass advanced level by just one question! Love you all and I wish you the best next year!!!!
